Ignite Web Studios is a small, local design studio built around a simple idea. The businesses that keep a neighbourhood running, the cafes, the trades, the shops, the service providers, deserve websites that work just as hard as they do. Too often they end up with a half-finished template, a dusty builder, or a site that hasn’t been touched in years.

We’re small by design. We’d rather ship a few remarkable sites than a long list of mediocre ones. Every project goes through the same hands from the first conversation to launch day. No junior handoffs. No white-labelled outsourcing. Just careful, considered work, shipped properly and supported long after.

We take real pride in the fact that a site we build is out there helping someone local grow their business, win back their evenings, and hire the next person. That’s why we answer the phone, reply the same day, and stick around long after launch.

We built this studio for the builder, the baker, the bold. For the people who keep this corner of the Lower Mainland feeling like a place worth coming home to. A real website, made with genuine care, by someone who takes the work seriously.

If a visitor can’t tell what you do in three seconds, the site has failed. We write headlines that say the thing. No riddles, no jargon, no design as decoration.

We’d rather take four weeks and ship something we’re proud of than push a half-built site live in ten days. Every pixel earns its place.

Your voice, not ours.

A site that feels like a wedding invitation when you’re a roofing company is a site that doesn’t book jobs. We listen hard, mirror your tone, and make it sharper.

Every site is designed from a blank page. No pre-built themes. No drag-and-drop page builders. Every layout exists because your business needs it.

Fast, on principle.

Under two seconds, every page, every time. Half your visitors are on a phone, a spotty connection, and a short patience. Slow is broken. We refuse to ship broken.

Twenty years working at a non-profit in Ladner supporting people with developmental disabilities taught me that the people who keep a community running deserve to be taken seriously, listened to carefully, and shown up for on time. In 2026 I completed my Executive MBA at Simon Fraser University, and I now build websites for the small businesses that make this corner of the Lower Mainland feel like home — helping each one put its mark on the local map.
